Help Complete Old Romero Road Restoration

Building on our successful restoration of the San Ysidro Trail and reopening of the first two miles of Old Romero Road, Montecito Trails Foundation is now raising funds to restore the final 5 miles of this beloved trail system.

Our plans have been submitted to the Los Padres National Forest, and we're targeting a spring 2026 start date for this final phase. Through the same collaborative approach that brought together the Los Padres National Forest and community supporters over the last 60 years, we can complete this critical restoration project.
